Facial Rejuvenation Treatments | Dubai

“Love is a many splendour thing,” and so is facial rejuvenation. With a lot of available facial treatments to improve facial rejuvenation, below are by far the most common.

Botulinum Toxin Injection (Botox)

Botox main goal is to smoothen lines and wrinkles. This goal is achieved through temporarily paralysing the targeted muscles. As such, facial movement is kept at a minimum until such time (around 3 to 4 months) when the neurotoxin loses its ability. By this time, another injection is required.

Dermal Fillers

Full cheeks and lips are usually an indication of youthfulness. As we age, fat loss increases and results in sunken cheeks and thinning lips. Dermal fillers are considered a safe way to improve and fill these problems. The most common dermal fillers used is the Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is naturally abundant in the body. By using HA as soft tissue fillers, there is highly unlikely to have significant complications. HA dermal fillers are a temporary treatment to augment lips and enhance the cheeks and last for six months to a year.

Vampire Facial

Vampire facial, also known as PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment is done for dull skin and texture. It uses one’s plasma (the yellowish component of whole blood).

Whole blood is composed of red blood and plasma. To separate the two blood components, the collected blood (around 8-10mL) is placed in a centrifuge machine for 5 minutes.

Once separated, the plasma which has a high concentration of platelet is introduced to the face by tiny needles. Dryness is common during the first few days, so make sure to keep the skin well hydrated using moisturisers and avoid direct sun exposure. After the first week, you will feel that the skin is more vibrant and glowing. A session of three treatments, spaced a month is required to achieve the best result.

Here in Dubai, Botox, Vampire Facial and Fillers are available at London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery located in Dubai Healthcare City.
